Join us Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, November 22rd, 2023 in the KHS Cafeteria and Walker Commons for KSDF's 27th Annual Chili Bowl. Doors open at 5 pm and tickets will be sold in time slots. The Turkey Day Pep Rally starts after at 7 p.m. in the David Holley Assembly Hall. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students K-12. Your ticket includes a chili sample from each participating restaurant, hot dogs, drinks, & dessert. Sample chili from local restaurants and vote on your favorites. We are thankful for this year's restaurants competing with their donated chili, including: Amigo's Cantina, Anthonino’s Taverna, Billy G’s, BrickTop’s, Casa De Tres Reyes, Crushed Red, Honey Bee's Biscuits and Good Eats, Pioneer Bakery, and Taco Buddha. Here is a rundown of the event: - Tickets will be sold in 30-minute increments with designated time slots. - There will be four 30-minute time slots to choose from between 5PM-7PM. - Wrist Bands will be given to you at the event and will be color coded for your time slot. - You will be given a tray to collect your chili samples, which will be handed out in cups. - The cafeteria will be set up with a one-way flow pattern and eating will not occur in the cafeteria. - Tables for eating will be set up throughout the indoor and outdoor common areas, but feel free to bring your own lawn chairs as well. - We will have “yard games” set up on the way to the gym to enjoy while awaiting the pep rally. *A special thank you to Honey Bee’s Biscuits + Good Eats, Casa de Tres Reyes, The Pioneer Bakery Cafe, Taco Buddha, and Crushed Red for providing a vegetarian option.* KSDF is grateful for the support of our sponsors, restaurants, local business donors and volunteers who make this event possible every year!
