Owen Palmore Memorial Scholarship Fund
Owen Palmore was a student at Robinson Elementary and Nipher Middle School. At Robinson he loved learning, attending REACH, playing ga ga ball, and working hard to make friends.
He was proud to attend Nipher, and loved the excitement of his classes and the increased independence. Owen loved these schools since they encouraged him to be himself, nurtured his curiosity, and gave him the love and support he needed to be his best.
This fund honors the spirit of Owen, who fought hard against the challenges presented by neurodivergence and illness, never letting these things define him, focusing instead on learning and exploring the things he loved - math, engineering, puzzles, and fantastic stories.
There is no better way to honor his legacy than to support the education of Kirkwood students who have risen above their personal challenges in pursuit of their unique goals and interests.
